Rooted in heritage, refined for today. We work closely with skilled artisans to ensure each piece is crafted with care and intention. Every creation is unique — hand-dyed in Africa, made in England

Adire
Adire is a traditional hand-dyeing technique passed down through generations of women in West Africa.
In Benin, Nigeria and The Gambia, we work directly with local artisans, including mothers, sisters and daughters, who fold, tie and bind each piece of fabric by hand in preparation for dyeing.
This process is more than a craft. It provides income, supports households and helps preserve a rich cultural heritage.
By choosing Dahomey Paris, you are supporting these women and helping sustain the communities they care for.

Sun-Dyed with Love in South Africa
In Gauteng, South Africa, women from rural communities use a natural sun-dyeing technique to create our unique marble and colourful prints.
Each piece is made in collaboration with nature, using only sunlight, leaves and time.
This slow and intentional process supports these women, their craft and their communities, all made with love.
